Project Heartline

台灣青年展 社會關懷團隊

Taiwan Youth Exhibition Social Care Team, founded in 2022 by youth passionate about art and culture, is dedicated to social care and cultural heritage through volunteer service and public action. We believe art and culture are not only expressions of beauty but also forces for change. By curating projects, engaging in service, and fostering exchange, we create opportunities for youth to act, inspire, and impact society.

More than a volunteer group, we are a platform linking art, culture, and social action. We welcome like-minded partners to join us in shaping Taiwan’s cultural legacy and advancing the public good.

Painting Taiwan Through the Lens of Youth

Taiwan’s landscapes are not only gifts of its unique geography but also the result of generations of care and cultivation. “Painting Taiwan Through the Lens of Youth”, initiated by Taiwan Youth Exhibition founder Andrew Yang, began with hand-drawn sketches by Yang and invited over forty rural schools and communities, with nearly a thousand children participating in the coloring process. Together, they completed this collective work—more than an artistic experience, it is a cultural dialogue, allowing children to rediscover their hometowns through creation and build a deeper bond with the land.

Taiwan Youth Lightbearers Initiative

The “Taiwan Youth Lightbearers Project”, initiated by the Taiwan Youth Exhibition in collaboration with the Strings of Affection · Soaring Melodies -Arts Volunteer Group and the APCDF, brought together youth volunteers across schools and organizations. Together, they donated NT$600,000 to support international public health and humanitarian programs led by the International Cooperation and Development Fund (Taiwan ICDF), aiding the long-term medical and infrastructure development of partner nations in Africa and the Pacific.

Drawing War to Peace

In 2024, moved by global challenges and with Taiwan in mind, set the annual exhibition theme as “Turning War into Peace through Art.” The aim was to harness the power of art to transform images of conflict into visions of hope, with each brushstroke carrying a wish for the future. Held grandly at the Fuhsing Art Gallery, the exhibition gathered young creators whose works conveyed care for the world and reflected the deep reflections and active pursuit of peace by Taiwan’s youth.

Love Go, I Go!

This project marked the first initiative of the former Whimsical Hearteners. It began when two team members, through their volunteer work, came into contact with the Happy Paws Alliance. After several service experiences, they gained a deeper understanding of the struggles faced by stray animals and were inspired by the idea of “wanting to do more.” Beyond feeding and grooming, they hoped to use creativity to let more people see the joy and spirit of these animals.
